zzzz i had to put this off midway. she is getting too rehearsed like ash.

Deepika is the only padmavati. I would have wanted to see more of her and that’s a good thing, she gave the film some weight while ranveer had has histrionics. The movie was flawed but deepika and ranveer did shine

ranveer is mindblowing as khilji

Deepika is so beautiful, but sinfully boring. The way she answers questions makes anyone go to sleep. I wish she had more energy that actually engages with viewers.

Deepika must have been made when God was in a very good mood, so beautiful and lovely

humari bharaat ki beti

Deepika looks so good and every review says she acted fantastisk

Deepika is gorgeous inside and out, such a lovely woman. Love you Deepika, stay happy and blessed always. You are a vision to watch

I didnt understand the ' water in eyes' part. Her eyes were always with tears. Why?
why was there water when she was questioned about stuff by Kulguru?
Deepika looked very beautiful in the movie. But to be frank, she was too tall. Im not saying queens cant be tall or have something against women being too tall.. but she is 'too tall'..I would prefer a shorter and a little healthy queen for Ratan Singh.
SLB must have thought, the taller, the mightier, more taller, more majestic, more taller more royal but that is not true.
Aditi would have been a better queen..she was petite, equally beautiful as Deepika and can act.

amazingly beautiful she is such a face its like poetry to watch her

Deepika has undoubtedly grown as an actress right from her debut to today . She's not what u call a 'natural born actress' , but she has learnt from the mistakes of the past to get where she is today . And her sense of script is getting better too . I don't know if she's not signing on many new movies because of marriage , but if she reads this my only suggestion is ....do not neglect the personal life for the professional . Look what has happened to plenty of successful actresses who have left it too late . And do not neglect Bollywood for Hollywood ! One nice thing about her is she is not brash or boastful even after stardom happened ... nearly all her co stars have kind words for her .

I think she is not signing any more bollywood movies because she is doing the next installment of XXX. The director did confirm she will reprise her role. I'm a Dippy fan and wish she will focus more on bollywood than doing that crappy XXX movie. XXX has done nothing to advance her hollywood career and hindered her bollywood one..

So lovely..

Padmavat is a fantastic movie. The legend has been taken, fictionalized, dramatized to stir the Indian audience. But it would be foolhardy of Deepika to be so stoked by it.She was the weakest link in the movie. The cinematography was the real winner of the movie,Ranveer's character was good,Aditi was ethreal and Shahid was alright.
As for Deepika, almost anyone else could have played that role.It was not her movie. Her entire characterization was built on using glycerin in her eyes. This is not a joke nor an exaggeration.SLB probably realized her lack of ability to emote, you can see her eyes moist in almost every secene of hers, even the ones that didn't require high drama. There is one scene where she is being questioned by the courtier, tested on her knowledge. She starts almost crying. It was really annoying,no other part of her face really emoted.
As far as her looks go,Aditi was looking way more gorgeous than her, they should have switched roles.

The point is, it isn't deepika's acting that counts, it's her stardom.

Wholeheartedly disagree. After Ranveer, Deepika was THE best performance, hands down. This was an underwritten character, and any other actress would not have been able to bring the character to life like she did. That was because she was able to emote through her eyes. Critics have complained that her role should have had more to do in the first half, but when it's come to praise, they have really loved her ability to act with just her eyes, so I really don't know how well you can judge acting

Bcoz she is fan of PC who has no Bollywood offers and is jealous hater of DP. That's all.
